The Steps we go through to make you a shirt here at the shop.
To show you how hands on we are with every shirt and every printing project.
We print with a very traditional silk screening method that we first learned over 20 years ago.
#1 - Cut the 2" X 2" X 8' lumber into 20" + 24" pieces w/ 45's on each end
#2 - Build the Frame w/ Frame Nailer & Wood Glue (in our custom frame jig) (dry for 24 hrs)
#3 - Strech the Mesh on the Frame in our custom built meshing jig
#4 - Coat Photo Sensative Emulsion on the Screen
#5 - Dry in Dryer Vault for 30 Minutes
#6 - Print out Negative of Design (1 screen for each color)
#7 - Expose Screen for 10 min in UV Exposure Unit
#8 - Wash screen in wash booth with warm water & let dry
#9 - Tape off perimeter of bottom of screen
#10 - Place in one of the heads on the press - line up & set up palate
#11 - Coat screen with ink
#12 - Do test print on scrap fabric & heat set to check temp settings
#13 - Pull & Prep shirts to begin print run
#14 - Fold-em, Tag-em & Bag-em
